In today’s society, each of us naïvely understands our own limits, yet at times, we forget our true potential. Along the way, we encounter different situations, lives completely distant from one another, yet we all share one fundamental truth—there is no one stronger for us than ourselves.

When one realizes this and returns to oneself, they overcome the trials and challenges life throws their way without ever bowing their head—standing tall, just like Tommy!

This painting holds deep personal meaning for me. The character’s figure inspired me, helped me believe in myself, and gave me the courage to take the leap.

Blue and black represent the cold night, the darkest part of the day for each of us, where silence falls, and we are left alone with a choice—whether to fight against our inner selves and fears or face and accept them, releasing our burdens like a puff of smoke from a cigarette, drifting away before we even notice.
