Paolo Dallorto
Paolo Dallorto, born in 1993 near Turin, graduated as a surveyor but pursued his career working in the family decoration business. He approached the world of art through a private workshop in painting, restoration, and artistic anatomy. Since then, he has enjoyed creating his works on canvas using various materials such as oil, acrylic, and watercolors.
He draws inspiration from everyday life, blending reality with everything his imagination suggests. His creative process begins with a pencil sketch, which then comes to life through a play of colors and perspectives.
Each artwork holds a personal, simple, and concise message, telling a unique story through its essence.
His journey began in a workshop in Cuneo, where he attended painting and restoration courses for five years. In the following years, he created artworks as gifts for special occasions for family and friends until, in the summer of 2023, he participated in his first group exhibitions in Rome, on Via Margutta and at the gallery of the Angelica Library, as well as in Florence, near the Duomo.
During the same period, he took part in the initiative of the Bocca Bookstore in Milan with L’Agenda degli Artisti, which will continue in 2025, featuring his work on the back cover.
He is featured in the Contemporary Art Collection Artisti Italia Svizzera 2024 and participates in the exhibition at Villa Borromeo d’Adda in Arcore, alongside art critic Felice Bonalumi.
He also takes part in the Premio ModArt Exhibition with the theme “Women in Transformation”, held at Palazzo Malvini Malvezzi in Matera, in collaboration with historian and art critic Giorgio Gregorio Grasso.
Additionally, he is selected for the official catalog of the National Institute of Culture, LO STATO DELL’ARTE ai tempi della 60° BIENNALE DI VENEZIA, curated by historian and art critic Giorgio Gregorio Grasso. In January 2025, he will exhibit at Palazzo Pisani in Venice as part of this initiative.
During the same period, he also takes part in the Giuseppe Mazzini Award at Teatro Manzoni in Milan.
In the spring of 2025, he will participate in the group exhibition ART EXCHANGE in New York at Culture Lab LIC, an event supported by the Carlo Rambaldi Foundation. The goal of this exhibition is to highlight the interconnection between Italian artistic traditions and innovative overseas trends.
